Outlook Express is a popular and free Mail reader from Microsoft. This guide uses the Windows 2000 version, but the steps should be very similar for Windows 95, 98, Me, and XP.
Most installations of Windows install Outlook Express by default, as it is included in the Internet Explorer suite. If you do not have it, or wish to upgrade, visit the Internet Explorer Homepage
Security patches for Outlook Express are available from Windows Update. As with all products, HotPOP recommends you keep your software up-to-date.
To begin setting up Outlook Express to connect to your HotPOP account, open the program. It is commonly found in the "Programs" section of the "Start" menu. If this is the first time you have run the program, it may present you with a setup wizard. If this happens, jump to the next page of this guide
Click on the "Tools" menu and then select "Accounts...", as shown in the screenshot below:

A popup window will appear. Click the "Add" button, and select "Mail..." from the menu that displays, as shown in the screenshot below:
